Good morning Cambridge families, today you are in for a real treat! Attached is the video of the story of Noah Henry read by our very own Ms. Edgerton:)

The story was written and illustrated by Deana Sobel Lederman. Deana is a mom, just like your own, who chose to openly share through this beautiful story how her children were feeling about Covid19. The story shows that even during difficult and uncertain times, we can still chose to support and help each other. I hope you will make your own rainbow to post in the window to show your friends and family you are thinking of them.

Good morning Cambridge Families, As you know, one of my favorite topics is how to stay healthy. I'm sure we would all agree that eating healthy food is a very important way to stay healthy. Have you ever noticed that sometimes we don't like a healthy food the first time we try it? Well, did you know you have to try a new food 10 times before your tastebuds can decide whether they really like the food or not? Gregory the Terrible Eater is the story of a goat who eventually learns to like the flavor of cans, boots and newspapers, those foods goats normally like, only by trying them over and over again. Face masks

Good morning Cambridge families, this week we talked about playing our part to stop the spread of germs by social distancing. Another practice just as important in stopping germs is wearing a face mask. Wearing a mask not only protects the person wearing it but more importantly, it protects those people that need extra protection like infants, the elderly and people that have chronic diseases. But sometimes face masks are confusing. You can't always recognize the person wearing one. You can't see their nose or their mouth. Sometimes it hard to hear what they're saying. They can be uncomfortable to wear. The attached video is a social story that helps explain that even though people look different behind a mask, they are still the same person. Wearing a face mask is another way to play our part in protecting ourselves and others.
