Good morning Cambridge families, as a follow up to Tuesday's lesson on the fun and health benefits of growing and eating your own vegetables, I wanted to share this video on healthy snack choices.
By checking labels you can chose foods with the least amount of sugar and stay away from artificial flavors.
By cutting the sugar in your food you can eat good things now so you can feel better later.
Some healthy snack ideas are a bowl of yogurt, fruit and granola, a bag of almond and raisins, or carrots and broccoli with a hummus dip.
What is your healthy snack choice?

  1. My mom ALS started out with a foot drop on her left foot. From there her left leg lost all muscle tone and all the entire left leg muscles were almost gone. Also her fingers and thumbs "contract" at times. Left arm is losing muscle tone too,she have been suffering from amyotrophic laterals sclerosis (ALS) disease for the last seven years and had constant pain which really get us worried, especially in her knees, the only treatment for this ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is natural organic treatments honestly ,Multivitamin Herbal Care has the perfect herbal remedy to Motor Neuron Disease including, getting into bed was also another thing she finds impossible. We had to find a better solution for her condition which has really helped her a lot,The biggest help we had was multivitamincare orgThey walked us through the proper steps, I highly recommend these herbs to anyone suffering from ALS.

  2. Natural herbs have cured so many illnesses that drugs and injections can't cure. I've seen the great importance of natural herbs and the wonderful work they have done in people's lives. i read people's testimonies online on how they were cured of Herpes, Hpv HIV/AIDS & STDs, Diabetics , Gonorrhea, Hepatitis, Arthritics , etc. by herbal medicine, so i decided to contact the doctor because i know nature has the power to heal anything. I was diagnosed with Herpes for the past years but Dr Chike cured me with his herbs and I referred my aunt and her husband to him immediately because they were both suffering from herpes but to God be the glory, they were cured too .I know it is hard to believe but I am a living testimony. There is no harm trying herbs. Contact Dr on Whats-App . +233502715551. text/call via: +1 (719) 629 0982 , or you can also contact through his Facebook Page @ Dr Chike Herbal Remedy.

Nurse Reed reads Gregory the Terrible Eater

Good morning Cambridge Families, As you know, one of my favorite topics is how to stay healthy. I'm sure we would all agree that eating healthy food is a very important way to stay healthy. Have you ever noticed that sometimes we don't like a healthy food the first time we try it? Well, did you know you have to try a new food 10 times before your tastebuds can decide whether they really like the food or not? Gregory the Terrible Eater is the story of a goat who eventually learns to like the flavor of cans, boots and newspapers, those foods goats normally like, only by trying them over and over again. Maybe you can try to eat a new healthy food this week? Gregory the Terrible Eater

World No Tobacco Day is May 31

Dear CAMBRIDGE families, Every year, on May 31, the World Health Organization (WHO) and public health and community partners from across the globe mark World No Tobacco Day, highlighting the health impact of tobacco use and the most effective policies to fight back against the epidemic. The focus of World No Tobacco Day 2020 is on "tobacco and lung health." The campaign will increase awareness on: the negative impact that tobacco has on people’s lung health, from cancer to chronic respiratory disease, the fundamental role lungs play for the health and well-being of all people. This year more than ever the health impacts of smoking are that more concerning. Smoking is not only bad for the smoker but it causes air pollution which impacts us all. Please join with me and people from all over the globe in marking May 31st as a no tobacco day. Who knows, stopping for a day might give you the courage to quit permanently. Tick Talk

Good morning Cambridge families, in the spring and summer months we spend a lot of time outside. You can enjoy the great outdoors but don't forget about the threat of ticks. Ticks can carry diseases like Lyme disease. Join Raji and Alex while they go for a walk and talk about what ticks are and how you can avoid them.
