National Pet Week!

Good morning Cambridge families, it's National Pet Week! Did you know that while you are taking care of your pet, your pet is taking care of you?
There have been many studies that show owning a pet is good for your health! When you pet, cuddle or just spending time with your pet it helps decrease feelings of anxiety and loneliness and makes you feel better. And walking your pet is one of the best ways to keep you and your pet healthy.  Studies have shown people that walk their dogs walk on average an extra 30 minutes a day and we know exercise keeps us healthy. And because  pets are fun to spend time with, they can help us feel happier.
Celebrate National Pet week by sending me a picture of you and your favorite pet!

Tick Talk

Good morning Cambridge families, in the spring and summer months we spend a lot of time outside. You can enjoy the great outdoors but don't forget about the threat of ticks. Ticks can carry diseases like Lyme disease. Join Raji and Alex while they go for a walk and talk about what ticks are and how you can avoid them.

Good morning Cambridge Families, As you know, one of my favorite topics is how to stay healthy. I'm sure we would all agree that eating healthy food is a very important way to stay healthy. Have you ever noticed that sometimes we don't like a healthy food the first time we try it? Well, did you know you have to try a new food 10 times before your tastebuds can decide whether they really like the food or not? Gregory the Terrible Eater is the story of a goat who eventually learns to like the flavor of cans, boots and newspapers, those foods goats normally like, only by trying them over and over again. Maybe you can try to eat a new healthy food this week? Gregory the Terrible Eater
Good Morning Cambridge Families! Wow this weather was unexpected! Hoping along with all the online activities you're doing with your teachers and classmates, you are not forgetting how important exercise is! Today is a perfect day to get bundled up in your snow gear and go outside to play in the snow! We are so lucky to live in a beautiful place like Vermont where we have lots of fresh air! Thinking about you. Let's stay connected!
