World No Tobacco Day is May 31

World No Tobacco Day 2020 | Theme, Slogan, Activities, Facts ...

Dear CAMBRIDGE families, Every year, on May 31, the World Health Organization (WHO) and public health and community partners from across the globe mark World No Tobacco Day, highlighting the health impact of tobacco use and the most effective policies to fight back against the epidemic.

The focus of World No Tobacco Day 2020 is on "tobacco and lung health." The campaign will increase awareness on:
  • the negative impact that tobacco has on people’s lung health, from cancer to chronic respiratory disease,
  • the fundamental role lungs play for the health and well-being of all people.
This year more than ever the health impacts of smoking are that more concerning. Smoking is not only bad for the smoker but it causes air pollution which impacts us all. Please join with me and people from all over the globe in marking May 31st as a no tobacco day. Who knows, stopping for a day might give you the courage to quit permanently.

  1. Natural herbs have cured so many illnesses that drugs and injections can't cure. I've seen the great importance of natural herbs and the wonderful work they have done in people's lives. i read people's testimonies online on how they were cured of Herpes, Hpv HIV/AIDS & STDs, Diabetics , Gonorrhea, Hepatitis, Arthritics , etc. by herbal medicine, so i decided to contact the doctor because i know nature has the power to heal anything. I was diagnosed with Herpes for the past years but Dr Chike cured me with his herbs and I referred my aunt and her husband to him immediately because they were both suffering from herpes but to God be the glory, they were cured too .I know it is hard to believe but I am a living testimony. There is no harm trying herbs. Contact Dr on Whats-App . +233502715551. text/call via: +1 (719) 629 0982 , or you can also contact through his Facebook Page @ Dr Chike Herbal Remedy.

Nurse Reed reads Gregory the Terrible Eater

Good morning Cambridge Families, As you know, one of my favorite topics is how to stay healthy. I'm sure we would all agree that eating healthy food is a very important way to stay healthy. Have you ever noticed that sometimes we don't like a healthy food the first time we try it? Well, did you know you have to try a new food 10 times before your tastebuds can decide whether they really like the food or not? Gregory the Terrible Eater is the story of a goat who eventually learns to like the flavor of cans, boots and newspapers, those foods goats normally like, only by trying them over and over again. Maybe you can try to eat a new healthy food this week? Gregory the Terrible Eater

Tick Talk

Good morning Cambridge families, in the spring and summer months we spend a lot of time outside. You can enjoy the great outdoors but don't forget about the threat of ticks. Ticks can carry diseases like Lyme disease. Join Raji and Alex while they go for a walk and talk about what ticks are and how you can avoid them.
